Commission a drawing...

How about a gift with a difference, for a birthday, wedding, anniversary, christmas, christenings...a unique one off, something that nobody else will have thought of...

I am currently taking pencil-line drawing commissions.

I am currently unavailable to do pen drawings and acrylic paintings but will be available to do these at a later date, e-mail for further details.

It's as simple as 1, 2, 3.

  1. Simply e-mail me a good quality photo as a jpg file. If you have multiple pictures or want to combine two people in one image, I can photoshop the best bits of each to create the best image which I would approve with you before starting on the sketch. I will then do a pencil line drawing for you (see examples below). Send images at least a week before the item is required, ideally 2-3 weeks before.
  2. Supply me with a frame (which you can buy from somewhere like Cargo or WHSmiths) and I will do the picture to fit. If you don't supply the frame then please specify exactly what type of frame you require and I will get it for you at cost plus delivery to my address. Having a frame made to measure will take time so bear this in mind.
  3. At the agreed date the picture will be ready for collection or I can deliver the item back to you at courier or special delivery cost.

Pencil drawing from photo £50 - £120 (size/complex dependent)

Pen drawing from photo £100 - £150 (size/complex dependent)

Acrylic painting from photo £150 - £300 (size/complex dependent)

Other services

(1) Simple pencil drawings of a still life or image of your choice (see rose, golfer, chinese dragon and cherubs below).

(2) Photo-shop service to enhance photos of your choice and if required applied to canvas, e-mail details for individual quotes, these are generally quite abit cheaper than fine art services, size and complexity dependent.

And another. This one (below) involved swapping the ladies original photo for another of herself (as in the photoshopped image to the left) and reversing her to sit perfectly next to the gentleman, whilst also straightening her smile.

Here are some examples of my acrylic painting work. I had two wedding photos sent to me, in one the baby had it's hand infront of it's mouth, I photoshopped the better image in (see the photo) and using this and abit more image manipulation to fit the canvas (moving people closer together etc), I treated it further graphically and painted the final acrylic as shown.
